Does it make more sense now? I have the original and have always hated the production and what was done to his voice. My least favourite Pumpkins record. But then what would I know. By the way it actually does look gorgeous? Have they improved the production by any chance :)

Morning. I`ve only gotten as far as opening it as the stereo is currently being spring-cleaned (eco 3, clean connections, trying to find out where that power supply noise is coming from :-( ). I`ve had the original triple lp from when it came out and always liked the running order (although I had a copy of it taped from the cd version which I originally knew so it took a while to get used to the different running order). It`s a really nice package though not worth the €250 being asked for it. I managed to get it for €40 incl. duty from Amazon.CA due to a mistake in the original listing that they had to honour :-) . It`s only worth about €50-60 tops in my opinion. As an example Porcupine Tree`s triple live lp Coma Divine €28.85 plus p&p or the quadruple lp Anesthetize €72.70 plus p&p which both include high-quality booklets and sleeves etc. just goes to show the mark-up the greed merchants at EMI are putting on it. I always thought the original was a little bass heavy so looking forward to hearing a hopefully cleaner version of this album which I love almost as much as Siamese Dream. Happy Friday folks!

€250.00!!!!!! You certainly did well :) Hope it's as good as you hope....Must have a listen to Coma Divine sometime. Have you seen the Black Sabbath box set? Looks very enticing from the outside but utterly pointless to me at this stage. God knows I have enough Sabs to do me a lifetime lol. Happy Friday to yourself too! Hope you get the power noise sorted. Maybe it's the kettle leads ha ha!

Yeah €250 is extacting the urine in the extreme. Coma Divine is a really good album. Kind of marks the segueway between old PT and new PT if ye follow. As for Sabbath...I only bought the deluxe edition lp`s last year so unless it`s a pure analogue remastering I wouldn`t interested (especially at the stupid money they1re looking for - tho the tourbook tjingy looks great). The job that Andy Pierce did on the deluxe lp`s is superb anyway (except for Paranoid - a bit too much noise recuction used IMO). Reckon it`s the power supply from the Wadia causing the aggro. Further investigation with a buddy who`s an electronics whiz is imminent as the noise cd`s make is bad enough without the player adding to it :-)

Love it :) Didn't check the Sabs box price. Must have a look at the presentation anyway just for the heck of it. Must dig out my multiple copies of Paranoid and compare them to the Andy Pierce remastering.....just for the fun of it ha!
