Double Mozart....
Mozart had such an affinity with wind instruments! That Clarinet Quintet is one of my favourite pieces in all of Classical Music!

Tchaikovsky 5. Don't know this Symphony so well, but it's a while since I've had the chance to listen to an entire Symphony. Fingers crossed I'll get to the end without disturbance. Sound is always good on a Sunday too!

Ah the Guarneri String Quartet! I really like their Beethoven cycle, it was my first cycle of Beethoven's String Quartets and they mad a big impression on me. That said, the Quartetto Italiano cycle is my favourite followed by the Budapest and then.........................

People speak well of of that set, it is on my wish list.

Jansons does well with Russian music.
Seán I chose the Guarneri as I had not heard it in a while. The Italiano is a classic and I enjoy the Cleveland Quartet as well in the Beethoven.
