everything else is good. height is now normal. soundstage is musical. energy seems recent best. clarity also much improve especially for fast drums.

JC, could you test soundstage and SQ version lekt.exe1644 v2.67.3 256 test_soundstage, have uploaded for testing only. now very hard with soundstage, i haven't normal correct template, think need use good CD Player. software players create many kinds, almost not the same. JPlay, JMC, foobar2000, XA, MQn, lekt,..., each player is different, even each version. and sound texture.
do you tried KS? have seen and read code of KS, many many things objects in code. not simple to give good sound, although KS very good in theory.

maybe forget soundstage for now. you can make 1 version with good soundstage. but can you keep it in further versions?
every mqn has different soundstage. every xa has different soundstage.
keep soundstage simple. focus on music. maybe one day, correct soundstage will arrive automatically!

2.67.3 soundstage ok. height enough? need little bit more depth.
i think 2.55 is good template for soundstage. a little bit incorrect in positioning sometimes. but height/width/depth are very good. not too much, just enough. (tested with 100 of good+bad tweaks. 2.55 survives very well in many different forms)

KS as in jplay? not good.
KS as in new mqn? no comment yet...hehe... think sgbk will move back to mqnplay.exe with KS. waiting...
KS as in foobar/xa? foobar gives bad sound with ks.
KS as in asio4all? i tried hardware buffer. interesting sound. but incorrect. maybe you can correct it? (the incorrect sound is same as lekt.exe+ASLR=no)

2.67.2 is great. everything very good.

only issue is soundstage. compare to 2.40.1 or 2.5x, 2.6x has something missing. width/depth/height all ok. i don't know what it is. it doesn't feel the same. feels like i am not surrounded by sound.
missing sound in the air? just feel weird. not like other software player.

this version give good sound but not correct inside in running process, my laptop also as your, after running it something is happen, weird. seems system resource is over. i think don't use it. im bulding next version, hope better, trying refference to soundstage of v2.55, its sound depth and weight correct, just enough.

this version running process free of console window that can close console window while running player. use stop_player.bat file with content:

taskkill /fi "PID gt 0" /IM lekt.exe /F >nul

to stop single track playlist.
stop multi-track playlist: close console window and click stop_player.bat

that sounds like a good idea, where did you get that from ? Very classy copying some else's idea and code without acknowledgement. I'm still waiting for you to contribute something positive, are you just going to leach off the back of MQn/JLP ?

sgbk, wtf man. i remember JIE has without console before MQn existed. this isn't an idea like inventing the wheels.

2.68.1 a little compressed.

2.68 little better. height... emotion a little intense. expand sound shall fix intense. everything else is good.

2.6x seems to lack the combine of air+sweetness in 2.4x or 2.55. important for emotion.

2.67 has good emotion. not intense. free, natural. need more air/transparent.
2.65.1 also good. treble has bass layer. makes treble rich. need more treble.
2.40.1 also good. i often use this version for vocal
