Gosh, I didn't realise that Corea's band had reformed again, I have his first two albums and they are very good:

This album leans quite heavily on the rock side of Jazz/rock but has buckets of energy and interplay of bass & drums is really exciting.



There is also another recent (also 2011) live album by the same core group you might like:



This trio is more similar to early RTF and features about half standards and half originals.

Good man Dave :) Be very interested to hear what you think of the Tim Buckley set, sonically and musically. Same with the Taste set....

I followed my own advice this afternoon and went back into town and bought a copy of the 4 CD set for €9.99 in Tower Records.

This precious vinyl item arrived this morning. Fabulous packaging too....
