Re: MQN
Gordon, your latest version play v 255/117/100 and rewrite v 45 is the best ever. Listening is just a great enjoyment. Many thanks!

Re: MQN
play 255 had something wrong with it, so was a bit screechy, uploaded 256 which fixed it.janh wrote:Gordon, your latest version play v 255/117/100 and rewrite v 45 is the best ever. Listening is just a great enjoyment. Many thanks!
In the last few days, your download page has worked "different". Now I cannot use Firefox for download - links don't work. But IE is ok, that is with one user account, but not with another. All files downloaded then have names with %20 for space.

don't know about downloads. I use chrome and seems ok.
uploaded 257/101/46, you can hear everything now, think that's it.

Re: MQN
Haven't had much time to mess around with svchost's registry keys/values, but on a whim tonight I applied the "sc own"/Type = 0x10 tweak to the "Power" service, which did seem to bring an improvement, I think. A little more speed to the sound/image solidity. Probably most effective if you have applied the requisite Control Panel Power Options/powercfg settings usually recommended around audio circles (e.g. High Performance scheme, no Core Parking, USB selective suspend disabled, Sleep disabled, powercfg -h off etc. etc.).

Thanks, I'll try it sometime. Suppose it makes sense as the power service does a lot of monitoring.internethandle wrote:Haven't had much time to mess around with svchost's registry keys/values, but on a whim tonight I applied the "sc own"/Type = 0x10 tweak to the "Power" service, which did seem to bring an improvement, I think. uploaded 258/102/47 - new alignment technique. The best yet, problem is more noises off are audible now.
Re: MQN
no comments on 258/102/47 ? I thought the new alignment made it sound pretty fantastic.
Have one bought one of these http://www.ebay.com/itm/F-1-XMOS-USB-Di ... 1a11703c3c, causing great excitement on headfi.
