Is win 10 supposed to be better than r2 server 2012?
I'd doubt it
Is there a server version of win 10 yet?

uploaded v201/70/51, thought previous version was an improvement, but sounded too soft.

This version has fixed that and has better detail.

I was wondering the same thing, about 10 versus server r2.

I found it interesting that Lekt only supports 10 now. I wanted to try it last week, and he said I need 10.

And now you can get AO for 10.

I have a spare SSD, so I may give 10 a spin and see what I think.

To answer my own question, I was looking at the AO windows 10 thread at CA, and it seems like there is no reason to switch to 10, unless it runs some software you want to use that server 2012 does not support.

Why something that you can almost have for free (win10) would outperform Win server 2012 r2
I cant see that happening

Listening a bit to mqnplay/control/loader v201/73/54.
What a beautiful version this is!

Many thanks Gordon, and a happy new year to You and everyone.

Cheers

mqnplay/control/loader v201/73/54 @win10 running in ramos is very very good.
It is clean, transparent, musical with subtle details throughout the tonal range.
Thanks for the great work.

Cheers
Iori

sbgk.
The uploaded file Mqn.bat of 25.12.2015 will not work - is it correct?
There is
taskkill ... mqncounter , but no taskkill... mqnloader.
Even that corrected it will not work.
There is a line
rem chcp 65001
different from earlier mqn.bat?

Have to try your new play-version soon.

Cheers
Jan H.
