no, we are back in full swing, however I don't have cover images for the BBC Music Mag recordings I own, as they aren't on Amazon, and I'm not as clever as you in taking and downloading images... ;-)

wonderful version of this set, a real balls and all interpretation, lots of instruments in "one per part" (guitar, viol, organ, violone, theorbo, bass, harpsichord) lend an uncharacteristically lush soundscape for historical instruments, which I think serves these pieces well.
Not as reflective in tone as some versions (not to say that the slower movements are rushed, they are beautifully rendered), but with this level of vigour, and visceral playing its definitely a morning piece!

just in case you're wondering like I was, wtf a theorbo is..... turns out its the baroque equivalent of the Jimmy Page double neck a.k.a. I'm a total shred-meister..... guitar

slightly less rock and roll in modern hands, no less impressive though!
I take it one doesn't tune it sitting down!
