I don't use tasker but my Xeon cpu I have clocked down to 800Mgz
All works fine here except latest Mqnplay after track finish cpu and memory keep going up
You have shut it down otherwise will freeze you pc
Thanks

I have mqnplay on a single dedicated core using tasker and it will only run up to 26% filling up that one single core.
But the other 3 remaining cores are still available and therefore PC won't freeze.

Aleg actually when you mention that how to use tasker and where I get it?
I have Process lasso and I assign core 0 and 1 to Mqnplay core 3 to control
Maybe I should just give Mqnplay only 1 core??
Is it that better that way?
Thank you

You'll have to do a search on this thread and find the latest post by taggart giving a link to tasker.
I didn't keep the links

I think 133/45 is really exceptional.

Keep it at that level please!!

Cheers

minionas wrote:It seams i can not use tasker with 133/44or45. Though all previous versions worked fine with assigned different cores for mqnplay, mqncontrol and rest processes.
My i5 'T' haswell is downclocked to 800mhz.. is it too weak for newest mqn versions?
What you think?
are you sure you've got the correct versions ?

hopefully it will get better.

I prefer 133/44, but it's prone to crackling, hope I can resolve that. 45 doesn't have the same level of detail for me.

Both 133/44 and 133/45 play fine. For both, after end of play cpu will go up, and if I dont end mqnplay-process in a few seconds, a short burst of loudspeaker noise will come, and also more short bursts later.
SQ - they are very good and a bit different, I can like them both.

I uploaded control v48 and v49 and play v134, they use larger buffers - 23 ms instead of 10, aligned to 4k page size. 48 is same methos as 44 and 49 same as 45, think I like 134/49.

Definitively v134/49
I try modified Mqn bat file by Aleg
It is an improvement on details, noise floor etc
Worth trying for sure
Thanks Aleg
Thank you Gordon of course for latest versions

If just that climbing cpu and ram at the end of the track could be fix it would be awesome
