What do you think?
Thanks
still not got the punch that v75 has, might have to settle for v75. I thought the v80's were a better technical solution, but the sound is a bit flatter than v75.

V82 is indeed flatter than v75, for me most noticeable on female voices.
Would happily settle for v75

yup, v75 seems to be a freak of nature, really gets a grip of the music, on with the control update then.

One more vote for v75.

I have borrowed an Audiophilleo to compare my Hugo USB input vs SPDIF.
With the USB input, all the players available to me worked fine. MQn > HQ Player > Foobar.
With SPDIF, both Foobar and HQ Player worked fine (I had to increase HQ Player WASAPI buffer to 20 ms to avoid clicks). With MQn, music plays with regular background noise (clicks and pops).
What should I do to correct this behavior?

On the subject of Hugo's USB vs SPDIF, more listening is required. The Audiophilleo is brand new and needs break-in. The sound with the Audiophilleo is more relaxed, analog like, but the USB input has more details.
And I need to make MQn work with SPDIF in my system.

play v85, just a few refinements to v75.

yes, am working on multi track, but was reading some agner fog assembly docs.

v86 a bit sweeter sounding, just swapped the position of some register moves, would probably settle for this one.

v88 seems very nice, has everything.

v89 even more in your face

something wrong with v89, tiring after a while, v88 best.
