Ah Dermot, another one to add to my list to find on Tidal. The last few months I've been trawling through music from half remembered groups from the late sixties that I'd heard of but never or rearely listened to, such as the Pretty Things with S.F. Sorrow, Blue Cheer, Blackfoot Sue, among many others. It's the time that I first became interested in music and many of these groups were fringe even back then, but producing music that twelve year old me could relate to.

Well Johnny what’s your verdict on the crazies ;) At the moment I’m contemplating checking out the forthcoming (March 7th) BBC Sessions between 1970-1972.JAW wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2025 10:46 pmAh Dermot, another one to add to my list to find on Tidal. It's an interesting one Dermot. I liked it. It has very gentle tracks such as Heavenly Man and stronger insistent tracks such as Do It. Overall, I enjoyed it and it will probably take a couple of listens to absorb it all. Teenage Rebel made me smile and the 10 minutes or so of Uncle Harry's Last Freak-Out flew by. Not to everybody's taste, I'm sure, but more musical than I expected.cybot wrote: ↑Sat Feb 08, 2025 9:23 pmWell Johnny what’s your verdict on the crazies ;) At the moment I’m contemplating checking out the forthcoming (March 7th) BBC Sessions between 1970-1972.JAW wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2025 10:46 pmAh Dermot, another one to add to my list to find on Tidal. Listening to this one right now: not exclusively for King Crimson fans. And a very good recording quality indeed.
