Try the Solti/LSO recording then, it is magnificent, I have it on vinyl.

In my humble opinion Solti is the most underrated conductor of Mahler's works. His Second with the LSO, Fourth with the Concertgebouw, Seventh & Eighth with the CSO are hard to beat.
