Electronica - what are you listening to?
Re: Electronica - what are you listening to?
Dermot you know what pupils are like they need to be brought gently along with lots of encouragement. I was listening to airports and films while working in the background so will return for a serious listen but couldnt resist the temptation to maybe try and rise the teacher.

To bookend the listening from the other night:
No big guitar riffs in the Kraftwerk 2 album cybot - not that I remembered anyway. Nice piece of work, but you'd have to bein the humour for it....

Do or do not, there is no try

The Caretaker - An empty bliss beyond this world..
Production on this is simply stunning!!

Wow! Can't quite believe what I'm seeing!!!! A Caretaker fan ;) Delighted you like it! I have that much stuff by him sometimes I get a little confused! Is that the one with all the crackling, surface noise ;) BTW you should check out his new soundtrack effort. It's called Patience (After Sebald) which is suitably creepy and morose....jadarin wrote:

Isn't it an amazing coincidence that I only changed my moniker a little while ago and now we're talking about 'amazing surface noise'!!jadarin wrote:That's the one alright.1930's dancehall with that amazing surface noise.
