Today is C.P.E. Bach´s 300 birthday. I´m celebrating with arguably his greatest masterpiece.

Vivaldi: Musique Sacrée pour Contralto, Cordes et Basse Continue....
This is a really lovely CD which contains a particularly beautiful version of Stabat Mater. Lesne really brings out the "soul" in this music.

Double vinyl: Bach's Orchestral Suites performed by La Petite Bande / Sigiswald Kuijken....
....one of the better versions that I own of these works.
