Totally thrown by this, I thought from the clues it was Shane McGowan or Brian Ferry! At least I'll be able to sleep tonight... :-)

Just seeing this now. Well done too Johnny :-) That's three you've got now, isn't it? One more and you'll have the deepest sleep you'll ever have! It's easy too :-) Rock Opera, Pete as in Pete Townshend and they're considered the ugliest band next to the Stones. Don't sleep :-)

Thanks for keeping this thread alive Johnny :-) My quick guess is as follows:

2. = Flowers of Evil by Mountain (brilliant album!)

3. = Live in Gdansk by David Gilmore

Well done Dermot!!!! Are you going for the hat trick? I was watching the DVD of Gdansk yesterday, Echoes is a real belter on it. I prefer Comfortably Numb on Pulse, though.

Thanks Johnny :-) As for the hat trick, I'm going to need a tiny clue because I definitely recognise it. Re: Comfortably Numb vs Echoes, there's only ever going to be only one winner, isn't there? No, the big thing about Echoes is the fact that is it's first appearance on DVD and Richard Wright's very last DVD performance with the Floyd. The fact that it's even better than the original is an added bonus :-)
