2.53 >2.53.1.

huge amount of vibration! extremely good for drums. maybe need even more vibration to achieve true high-density sound? now guitar/piano notes feel less smooth because of vibration>density.

air actually is the same but feels less. (suffocated by vibration hehe)

need balance between super vibration and density.

compared to 2.51.2, 2.53 maybe 0.2% compressed sound.

overall, 2.53 is super and overwhelming.

in my case sometime v2.53 sound have very good bass detail, i never heard these details of bass in some recordings, have strange bass layer, interseting. 2.53 more raw, more clarity. vibration not always stable, think v2.53 will better sounding if make good system tweak.

microphone usually is very close to instrument in recording. so, it picks up vibration/details audience won't hear (maybe musicians won't hear too. they too busy playing)

2.53 is reproducing a lot of details. too much details/resolution can affect musicality. need care and control.

uploaded v2.54 256, v2.54.1 256. careful control of soundstage, i feel sound is not compressed, open/free. width and height more correct. try and enjoy!

2.54 and 2.54.1
-everything better! air/vibration/detail etc.
-need fix for height. maybe sound rising up ok, not enough.
-love the micro-vibration. best of all versions. just enough not overdone. especially for crazy rock guitar. most refined micro-vibration.
-feel more more real yet dreamy?! more more refined. this is going well!

hey lekt! my soundcard supports direct hardware buffer access!!! please try buffer hack again!!

i test with ASIO4ALL,
"hardware buffer"=0 + samples=2048
plays ok!

"hardware buffer"=20 + samples=512
plays ok!

if buffers too small, then sound=crackling! similar to lekt player. buffer samples was too small. maybe why it didn't work

2.55 and 2.55.1
-2.55 has new soundstage. 3D. not 3D effect! good good good. need time to learn this sound.
-2.55.1 simple stage. less width. stage size 99%.
-2.55 width maybe 101%. maybe 100%.
-2.55 correct tune. 2.55.1 tune less good.
-2.55 natural. 2.55.1 1% intense.
-2.55.1 a little better clarity.
-2.55 better separation.

both awesome. micro-vibration kept. all things kept.

2.55 feels like a good CD player. has all good elements of hifi. good balance

shame i don't have a electrostatic headphone. cannot test/enjoy natural soundstage.
