uploaded an oct and aleg version
also did an aa and tf v15 version as the previous aa version wasn't compiled using vs 2015, can you test to see if there's a difference.

There is not a huge difference between aa and aa v15. I found aa v15 to be better in clarity and smoothness.
Both are very satisfying.

Octagon,
I would try to play a couple of times before giving up. In my system, in average, 1 play fails each 3 attempts.

The improvement of the hardcoded 8.92 vs 8.92 avx2 is surprising to me.
How to explain the differente in sq: Instruments are better defined, just a bit clearer and transparent but that seems to have a bigger impact on how you recognize the whole room. I think the timing benefits from the hardcoding.
