2.51.2 is extremely well made.

works with any music. if i have to criticise, only piano has a few issues. any other instrument sounds great. as i don't play other instrument, i don't know the actual sound.

drum sounds like perfection to average person like me. just like the sound my brother makes when playing drums.

actually, one suggestion. when female singer sings with high density high notes with extremely smooth vocal, the sound is 1% intense.

for example, 2.40.1 is better at high density mellow treble sound. no intense

vocal focus, JC. need correct focus.

uploaded v2.52.1 256 , kept all good things of v2.51.2, but a bit better vibration, more clean, vocal focus more correct. think better. try it.

hmm... i don't hear issue with focus with 2.5x.
yes. 2.52.1 seems more focus.
positioning less well-done.

after a few hours of listening, start to realize 2.5x got a little intense overall. 2.40.1 is never intense.

2.51.2's resolution/detail is high already. after listening to 2.52.1, you make me think more detail is easily possible!

if my win7 isn't corrupted, i could have test it too. shame

now my OS is super strong now. in "task manager", i have 772 threads, 10200 handles, >200 TCP connections, a lot of I/O. lekt player soundstage is still 100% in size (zero sound compression). lost 5-10% detail/clarity/texture. air/mellow ok. tune kept. positioning a little unstable. emotion=100%.

maybe win7 has better SQ. i believe win8/2012 is better at not losing SQ.

not sure if lekt.exe depends on anything. for example, XA's foobar2000.exe.manifest depends on "Microsoft.Windows.Common-Controls".

actually realize lekt.exe already embeds a manifest. i just modify the exe directly. or is it better to have manifest externally?

feels more weight (maybe 101%). vocal seems better. changes SQ quit a bit. not better. but interesting.
