What do you think of Astor Piazzolla? I lived in Buenos Aires for a while and really got into him. The bandoneon has such a mournful tone that really suits the music.

He's a God. Such a vast scope of genres and he brings something to all of them. I've never heard anything by him that I didn't love.

I thought I was the only one who loved the sound of the bandoneon! I have one very precious album by the man in the video below. It's one of my all time favourites!

On a very swift visit to town today I picked up this 10 cd set for €10.99 in Spindizzy.
