I just hooked mine up. Showing a steady 235 :) No sound quality issues so far but the tubes aren't even warmed yet. Nice simple design, with my chunky mains leads I'll have to raise it a bit but that's ok. Does what it says on the tin.nige2000 wrote:A monster box arrived today
Unless it needs lots of burn in for my amp
it will be used on my pc :(
Might pop the hood see what's in there
I couldn't really hear a difference but will run some reference recording through it tomorrow evening. If it does sap the sound then it's onto the PC with it... At least it's shown me voltage at 235 - 240 consistently.nige2000 wrote:tested again this morning and im still of same opinion

It's possible to still get smaller versions via flickr. I did it recently (eventually) but it wasn't as intuitive as before.nige2000 wrote:yea flickr changed there setup im still getting to grips with itIvor wrote:You might want to try pixresizer there Nige

testing stuff is a bit of a compulsion here so im pretty sure its doing harm, but then again if i had terrible dirty mains i might have been delightedOn the sound quality... if I even suspect there's a negative effect it will be taken out... I didn't spend silly money on hifi to be sitting there wondering if I'm getting all I can get or not!
