I won't lie - the wiring slow and tedious. One down at least.

A word on ground. I think if we use the amp board signal ground plane as a local star for signal wiring, and run from there to the main star ground between the battery packs it will work well. It obeys the rule of keeping low current grounds separate from higher current grounds but yet is practical.

another good day's progress
i forgot to take photos today
we got the amp boards all wired up to power management boards and signal switching and volume control
another three psu heatsink combos completed, and no 6 amp built out of that and psu wired tested and calibrated

just some notes for next week coz i will forgetsa
get three core 1.5mm wire to bring power to front of case
epoxy resin for gluing knobs etc
black silicone/sealant for fitting voltmeters in front panel
find the heatshrink for the female crimp on terminals
find the two missing heatsinks

anything i forgot?

Got another bit done yesterday.

I don't know what Fran and Nigel were up (a lot of very thin wire and soldier) to but I got to drill and tap some more holes.
I'm beginning to feel quite at home in Nigel's shed.

Looks great NIgel. Not sure how I can pass this yoke off as a small Xmas surprise present. Looking like I will have to come up with some excuse for this Xmas.

than a bunch of lads decided it was a good idea to design from scratch an amplifier,
source the parts from all over the world some of which are made to order
and then spend several several days in assembly

Looking good Nige....whats the plan for finishing the front panels, masking tape on the windows and lacquer spray before assembly or after asembly?
