7.46 doesn't sound like portaudio anymore!

has great quantity makes sound soft.
seems a bit tense?
full vibrational style.

listening more...

interesting sound. quantity is not lacking. sound is rich. some resolution just isn't there

need less tense more ease. and then i can listen to this all day

+1

It works without problems and I can use it with my Teac Dac (which almost never worked with MQN).

uploaded mqnplay 16/44 7.48, found some settings and code were wrong, getting there.

7.49 set's mqnplay to realtime priority, improves another unmeasurable aspect of the sq

the exe is back up to 140kb, so the next thing is to trim that down to 2kb and that'll be that.

The latest 7.48avx2 and 7.49avx2 are very good!
The 7.48 has a bit more air and details compared to 7.49.
7.49 sounds a bit more "filtered", but still very good.

I prefer for a bit more the 7.48, but I can live with any of the two and delete all the previous versions! :)))

uploaded 7.50 avx2 - 4 versions

no priority setting ie normal
above normal
high priority setting
real time priority setting

for me no priority wanders a bit, hard to keep interested in the music
above normal sounds great, can almost imagine the record rotating with the needle in the groove, timing seems vinyl like
high priority seems less musical than above normal
real time sounds compressed, affecting system resources ?

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-gb/library ... s.85).aspx

prefer the high priority, better bass and presence, above normal timing seems slightly delayed

need a setting to add some vinyl like ticks and clicks

Perhaps I am missing the point, but why do you need to set priority in MQnPlay? Surely we can all set priority ourselves - especially easily with Tasker.bat or any batch file?

Apologies if I am technically inaccurate.

I'd like it to be settable too

You can always override it, as with my batch the tasker command follows the start of mqncontrol+mqnplay and will set the final value.
But agreed these things should best not be fixed inside an executable.
