Same problem as Aleg for me on 24/88. Old mqnplay.exe deleted but no new one created. All on 7.41 avx2 version.

7.41 + v82 density is ultra-high here. that affinity tweak of mqncontrol was doing good job make sound tighter cleaner. now it becomes bottleneck here. texture is muddled as a result of tightening.
i need to restore affinity to restore texture.
here at my setup it bests all wasapi mqn >=5.xx

finally understand why i like that 2.71 so much. forgotten 2.7x was using sse4 back then!
sse4 gives additional ease and richness and class to that treble that sse2 in comparison struggles a little.
possible of a sse4 version of 7.41?

24/88 dont work here either
and something funny about mqnplay.exe is missing
lots of progress last night
still think bass control and resolution could be tightened up further

24/192 working beautifully 7.41avx2 and pa v81 Ben Webster meets Oscar Peterson , Friday morning bliss.
I think we have a recurrence of the album size issue and need to allocate more space esp for 24/192 stuff, I suggest up to 5 Gb.

another day another bit of understanding about what's going on
pa v79
24/88, 24/96, 24/192

Could you also make a 24/44 or adapt the xx/44 so it can play both 16 and 24 bit music files at 44.1 kHz?
Secondly
With 88/24 playback the old mqnplay.exe is deleted but the new mqnplay.exe is not created, hence no playback.
And maybe 176.4/24 as well so there is a basis for DoP support?

whereas MQn wasapi was concerned about getting the best sound out of the copy code WDM KS is concerned with the interaction with the device driver, think I have that sorted now, but there are still about 5 factors that can affect the sq. Pin properties, File properties, thread or no thread, priorities, asynch or synch, event reset etc
think the dll maybe a limiting factor so stuck until can get it all in MQnPlay.
