Podcast featuring producer of Jason Isbell, John Prine, Chris Stapleton and many others.
For the music loving geeks Steve Dawson's podcasts are absolutely brilliant! He interviews some of the most influential artists and producers. Well worth a listen!

Thanks!
Some serious names coming up there! Rory Block, Alvin Youngblood Hart, Greg Leisz... I'm gonna have to wait for another long weekend...
And yeah, producer Dave Cobb makes a huge difference to a recording. I think he was interviewed in Stereophile a while back. You can clearly hear his (positive) influence, he worked with Sturgill Simpson too.

Hard to know what category this guy goes into... which is always a good thing.
New double album out, gig in Dublin in September... all good.
It's a very downbeat album but I suspect a grower.

Picked it up last night too Ivor, true he always releases interesting music. Pity he's not coming down south. Saw him about 15yrs ago in Cork (may still have been trading as Smog) and was brilliant.

Seasick Steve - Keepin' the Horse Between Me and the Ground
I've been playing the second disc quite a bit (a two CD offering), the easy slow side of SS, gentle picking.
