Well, we are having a great February music- wise in Mexico City. Joyce DiDonato gives a recital next tuesday, the Emerson Quartet a couple of Beethoven concerts, and Fabio Biondi returns -never too soon- on the 25th.
Are you going to get to hear them all? A great line up of fine artists. Joyce always puts on a great concert.

I won´t miss one, and all music lovers here are hysterical about Joyce DiDonato, I hope we don´t disgrace ourselves shouting like Justin Bieber fans.

More beautiful music, this time it's from the pen of Bizet:
George Bizet
Symphony in C
Jeux D'enfants
Concertgebouw Orchestra
Bernard Haitink conducting.

She knocked our sox off, what a glorious concert. Exquisite in Reynaldo Hahn songs, brilliant in Rossini arias, utterly unforgettable in Handel, and just plain divine in Mozart. Joyce DiDonato is living glory.
