+1 on this 7.39sse2 and PA59 version. Can't leave the room.
I ask this a lot but any chance of 24/88 version?

Hi Adam Thanks! Simply because I think this is a very strong version and I have a lot of favourites that are 24/88 format.
Really nice texture to this version for me anyway.

Tony, your wishes are mine wishes to! I have much more in 24/88 than 24/96.

Superb clarity and great deep but controlled bass.

So should be good for you Jonathan.

Where did you get 2.20? Latest WaveIO driver is 2.23, previous one 2.19.
With 2.19 same situation as 2.23 (7.35 distorted, 7.36 ok, 7.37 no sound).
However the latest 1644 combinations 7.38+3.64+PA57 and 7.39+3.64+PA59 are ok with both 2.19 and 2.23 WaveIO driver on my system.

2496 7.39+3.64+59 is ok on my system as well.
Yes sorry Mr Massimo typing all those numbers at once caused confusion I have WAVEIO drivers 2.23.

''It is! Actually moved straight to 7.39 SSE2/PA59 and marvellous.
Everything you say.

No truncation but still cutting off first second or so of each track (played singly that is).
Notable with 7.39 was that the stage was well back and stretching just outside the speakers, which I think is what the recording engineer is trying to achieve. Versions that have problems display a compressed width I find.''

Played Johnny Cash/Hurt and the scale and depth were much more akin to what my turntable Phono manages.

It sounded free of my speakers.

Sounds great with 24/96 also.

uploaded v61 portaudio - there was a setting that made the sound too hard, also render loop optimisation

just downloaded the led zep 1-3 hirez versions so good test of 24/96

Still prefer the 514avx2/2.97.
Please, let that be just MY opinion, my system and my preferences!
KS is definitely moving into the right way. Didn't try the latest PA v61 yet.

Funny guy!! :))))
Without to many details and since we have the "photography thread" in here, it's like when you already have the perfect zoom, than you try to zoomed even more and you get everything bigger, but blurrier!
