Had to break this one out in light of all the Henry Cow talk.
BTW I saw them play live in the open air theatre in Regents Park London in the mid 70's.
I remember Cutler was especially impressive.

Listening to this excellent ambient album by Jon Hassell who at 83 is suffering from health issues.
http://www.brooklynvegan.com/jon-hassel ... ard-times/ Sad indictment of the US medical system that a relatively well know artist who has had a long career could fall into to such circumstances. This album Dream theory in Malaya Fourth World: Possible Musics is a great listen. You can join the dots between this and Remain In Light, My Life in the Bush of Ghosts which were all released around this period in 1980-81.

Trigger Hippy self-titled first album (sorry can't find any images that will fit)
Joan Osborne (vocals)
Jakie Green (vocals, guitar, keys)
Nick Govrik (Bass)
Tom Bukovac (guitar)
Steve Gorman (drums)
Nashville super group. Cool Black Crowes vibe!

Don't know how I missed this one! You fairly sneak around a bit Mark ;) Anyway it must have been a strange experience watching the Cow strutting their unique music in the park. It's taken some of us a lifetime to finally get them. Still waiting on the box set. Almost a month now.....
