I haven't liked or bought a Van Morrison LP in over 20 years, but when I heard Roll With The Punches, I was tempted to buy it and did! I have found Van's voice to be mumbly and shouty and the mateial repetitive. I think his voice is crystal clear on Roll With The Punches and the playing is impeccable and the choice of songs is excellent!

I think he's a taste well worth acquiring.
Try the live in San Francisco album if you get the opportunity.

Yep, very underrated album that.
Vinyl -anything else is data storage.

I have 15 or so LPs of Van Morrison and love them. Saw him in The Olympia in 1974 (amazing) and in The National Stadium a couple of times. I just went off his voice from the mid 90s onwards, but heard a track off Roll With The Punches and thought this is more like the old Van so I bought it.

I really like the recent deluxe version of “the healing game” too.
