I worked in town from 1994 to 2008... ah those were the days, practically every lunchtime I would scour the record shops. Everybody was getting rid of their vinyl for the far superior CD (as they thought). It was a goldmine for me!

Them were the days alright, trawl through record racks and then a coffee or vice versa and if the weather was being typical Irish, skip one or the other. I’d often stop in one of the many bakeries and pick up an inside over for home later.

It's Joe Henry: the gospel according to water. 15 euro for a double vinyl which has barely seen a single needle so far.

Remember seeing him on RTE in the late 80's, often with Jim Doherty. Jazz wasn't necessarily my thing but guitar music of any kind was. He was mega imho
