Yes he was definitely one the humblest guys treading the boards. Really looking forward to hearing what Alex has to say. I'm very familiar with Rush having been the first in the neighbourhood to embrace them through their breakthrough album 2112 back in the balmy summer of '76. Alex's riffing was a thing to behold. As for poor old Geddy? Even now his singing makes them the uncoolest band on the planet 🌎 But......that didn't stop me buying all their albums up to Permanent Waves including all the live Ines up to that point.
Have a listen to this :) Indulgent for sure but, well, you can judge for yourself.....
Ah Chicago! Their first (the only one I have) and from which this track is taken is a good one. Especially Terry Kath's awesome guitar playing. I believe their second is equally as good.

Another favourite live performance of mine... The Byrds Eight Miles High, Ok I know Roger McGuinn is the only real 'Byrd' here, but Skip Battin, Gene Parsons and Clarence White (one of my favourite guitarists) are up to scratch playing wise.
Love the groovy guy with the sunglasses, far out! ha!
