Shouldn't be any difference between operation of v15 and v16, just 2 build settings which shouldn't have any effect.

Writing a mqn ks driver sounds cool for a usb i2s device would it be too much work?

would the device not come with a driver ? Don't understand the requirement.

Sorry was a little confused when you said direct to device
Though I often wonder would having latency and buffer settings built into the driver like Thesycon does have extra benefit
Or is there possible driver optimisations for mqn

micro is better with wasapi

Following a bit of a sabbatical I'm trying to get KS to work on my 8.1 machine. I'm using 7.16 SSE and 3.64 Control, PA V30.

My dac shows as device 4 so I've set this in mqnparam.txt

Control and mqnplay are set for admin priv and I am using Tasker though I get a similar result without it.

To disable mmcss I have set:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \SYSTEM \CurrentControlSet \Services \Audiosrv]DependOnService = "..."
I typed exactly "..." into the data field.

The first mqn window comes up fine, the 2nd window is empty and nothing happens.

Any inspiration out there? Please......:-)

I just removed mmcss from the dependency, don't know about ..., does mqn wasapi work ?

Wasapi did work but now does the same. Should I restore the text in the mmcss field? I should have written down the text....



I've set mmcss back to the old setting but wasapi now results in an empty window......What have I done. ....
