Hi
Just a Pc problem. I have Win 8.1

When I start listwdmksdevices.exe, this Error occur:
The prog. can't start because MSVCR120.dll is missing.

Just downloading and putting that file in \System32 and \SysWOW64 only give another error. This is unknown territory for me.

uploaded v1.01, don't know if that'll work

No, it was the first version of portaudio.
I didn't know they would output different information.

With v24 it is the following list, which is still more than 8 devices and there have to be installed two more DDC's (building a newly installed OS on my development PC at the moment)
C:\mqnks>listwdmksdevices.exe
Output devices:
0 - Analog (5+6) (Fireface Analog (5+6)) [Windows WDM-KS]
1 - ADAT (7+8) (Fireface ADAT (7+8)) [Windows WDM-KS]
2 - Analog (7+8) (Fireface Analog (7+8)) [Windows WDM-KS]
3 - SPDIF coax. (Fireface SPDIF coax.) [Windows WDM-KS]
4 - SPDIF/ADAT (1+2) (Fireface SPDIF/ADAT (1+2)) [Windows WDM-KS]
5 - Analog (1+2) (Fireface Analog (1+2)) [Windows WDM-KS]
6 - ADAT (3+4) (Fireface ADAT (3+4)) [Windows WDM-KS]
7 - Analog (3+4) (Fireface Analog (3+4)) [Windows WDM-KS]
8 - ADAT (5+6) (Fireface ADAT (5+6)) [Windows WDM-KS]
9 - SPDIF Out (HD Audio SPDIF out) [Windows WDM-KS]
10 - SPDIF Out (HD Audio SPDIF out 2) [Windows WDM-KS]
11 - Line Out (Juli@ Ch12) [Windows WDM-KS]
12 - Output (Juli@ Ch34) [Windows WDM-KS]
13 - Speakers (Juli@ Multi-4 ch) [Windows WDM-KS]
15 - Speakers (VB-Audio Hi-Fi Cable) [Windows WDM-KS]
Using this list, I would need device 3 so that would be OK for now.

The last version of portaudio is somehow not working in my setups, is it possible to download version 24?

I get this error when I try to play a WAV file-
"The prog. can't start because MSVCR120.dll is missing."

I think it is complaining about MQnPlay.exe

I am using:
parameters.txt set to 0 as I only have one audio device in Listwdmksdevices.exe v1.01 which ran fine and reported that my Thesyscon driver can play WDM-KS.
Latest portaudio.dll v.25
Control 3.62 for 16/44.1
MQnplay.exe 7.10 SSE2

No, the same.
And much as Jrling I got this error message:
mqnplay System error: The prog. can't start because MSVCR120.dll is missing-
come when I start MQn.bat, with: mqnplay 7.08/09sse2, control 3.62 and portaudio 25normal.

With mqnplay 7.06sse2, portaudio 24normal and control 3.61 everything is just fine.

don't know why that's happening, here is download link

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download ... x?id=40784

might have been the setting I changed in portaudio, so have uploaded portaudio v27 and mqncontrol 3.64

Have them already. Is it something to do with 2012R2 or the audiophil optimizer? Running gui at the moment not minimal or core so shouldn't be a problem
