put listwdmksdevices.exe in the same directory as mqncontrol/play/portaudio_x64.dll

- mqnparam.txt

put mqnparam.txt in the same directory as mqncontrol/play/portaudio_x64.dll

run listwdmksdevices.exe (double click on it) and note the device number then edit mqnparam.txt and replace 4 with the required no. max no is 8.

use with portaudio_x64 v24

find it a more natural sound than wasapi - Peter St (xxhighend developer) described wdmks as having soul

If you have mmcss enabled it will use that (pro audio profile), I have it disabled so the portaudio thread priority is adjusted automatically to highest - means the other applications are less responsive, whereas mmcss would try and balance things out.

Using portaudio_x64.dll v23 and mqnplay 7.05 in normal versions, playback breaks suddenly after two or three pieces .

It seems that the sudden interruption of playback is due to the time that I choose to shutoff the display of my thinkpad t61 if not in use. This time is ten minutes. Just to clear that point. The new versions seem to be at least not worse, compared to Wasapi. So - keep on tweaking, Gordon!

uploaded portaudio v25 and mqnplay 7.09, found incorrect setting for portaudio and sq tweak for mqn, the copy code still makes a difference.

uploaded portaudio v25 source code as required by licence, main changes are just removing as much code as I could that wasn't associated with wavecyclic render.

I only get wdmks devices, are you using the latest portaudio, which device are you wanting to use ?
