I was having semi-religious experience listening to this last night. Even my wife came in and asked who I was listening to (yeah, I know...). I will encourage any fan or otherwise to get this and be ready to be amazed!
That box set is incredible, Claus. I've never heard the music sounding so good. There's a fantastic sense of clarity and intimacy about Dylan's voice. And thankfully Sony have priced the set rather more cheaply than EMI with last year's mono box of Beatles remasters.
I am glad I wasn't just imagining things. I really WAS shocked and rather moved. Not something that happens with Dylan very often. But even my least favourite songs like Blowing In The Wind was just so fresh sounding like it was recorded yesterday.... :D

Got this for €2.40 all the way from singapore, this recession is really bringing out the cheapo in me! Got a few of their albums. distinctive voice and soft alt country style with oblique maybe corny lyrics? I dont know. It is easy to listen to but I haven't made up my mind about them.

They have been a long time coming! AW even has the original Warner Brothers Green label repro. which is a nice touch. Both Tower...and both vinyl.

I got this yesterday and I have just listened to 'Blonde on Blonde' and am now listening to
'Bob Dylan'.
I agree with everything said about this collection. It is superb. I have never heard Bob sound as good.
Thanks for another great recommendation.
