I conclude therefore that it is not the manifest causing it if you removed it in 6.15?
I reported the click first on 6.11 SSE2, which may give you a pointer to the cause?
that's unfortunate, suspect some interaction with your driver. How frequent is the clicking ?
does the problem manifest itself with 6.17 ?

No issue for me on 6.14sse2 using amanero driver. Must be something with your set up Jonathan.
Tried a few but currently settling with 6.14sse2. avx2's same issue for me with the latest.
Find 6.14 has lots of detail and nice richness no harshness very pleasant.

MQn avx2 6.16 and 6.18:Still no sound on my Ivy Bridge Zuma.The 6.17 sse2 version finally plays without any clicks through AP2 ,so this issue is probably solved. 6.16 avx works with clicks,so at least avx seems OK with Ivy Bridge for now.The last functioning avx2 version on Ivy Bridge PCs here is 6.05 (with clicks through AP2 ).Obviously, removing the embedded manifest didn´t solve the avx2 problem for Ivy Bridge CPUs ,it sticks deeper.

here is the manifest I'm using, removed the embedded manifest
think version 0.0.0.0 is better than 1.0.0.0 aand added uiAccess="false"
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?>
<assembly xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:asm.v1" manifestVersion="1.0">
<assemblyIdentity
version="0.0.0.0"

Every second or two. Like a vinyl scratch.
Haven't tried 6.17 but will do so later.
I suspect it is something that is causing an issue with Thesycon driver (v2.23 in my case), as the other report was the same driver with WaveIO like me. I have not had that issue ever before and so it is something in 6.11 and later.

6.15 is best here... all things are good here.
6.16 is softer -> maybe lumpy/mixture, not sure.
6.17 is not good... treble tune is tense

As several guys already reported I'm unable to get sound out of my PC with he latest avx2 versions (>6.10) as well. Taking the avx or sse versions I get sound but with clicks every half second. I am using the WaveIO-Board with Thesycon-Driver and I am using the MQNLoader.

Same here, no play on new avx2's and clicks on avx's!
Tried the 6.17 sse2, but still prefer the old 5.14 avx2.
