Orpheus
Standing firm on this stony ground
The wind blows hard
Pulls these clothes around
I harbour all the same worries as most
The temptations to leave or to give up the ghost
I wrestle with an outlook on life
That shifts between darkness and shadowy light
I struggle with words for fear that they'll hear
But orpheus sleeps on his back still dead to the world

You are certainly right John! I listened to 'Charlemagne in Sweatpants' (great title!) and I loved the guitar playing. Thanks for the tip :-)

I'm glad you enjoyed it. They're one of those bands who can easily pass you by.

As Germany are the best team I've seen so far,who can actually cope with the dreaded Jabulani ball, I'll be listening to all things German tonight - after all todays games are over, of course :-)

World Cup:

Germany 0
Serbia 1

Edit: Ha ha I spoke too soon :-) What a shock! What a fussy ref! What a penalty miss! Ah, the gall of it all! Well done Serbia :-) In case you're wondering, I'm not a Germany fan..... I'm an Irish fan of sport and it was a pleasure to see the men in green beat the French last night too ! Well done Mexico :-)

Inspired by Fergus I played my favourite Tull album tonight. (Aqualung is a close second).
