have very interesting version, vibration a bit lesser, but all other things seem better, especially soundstage, width very nice (sound mellow and clarity at left/right edges, nice!). clarity. feel more emotion?

uploaded v2.40.2 256 , i take this soundstage for template of lekt player, best oval. try it.

-yes 2.40.2 has better distance. 2.40.1 close to ear.
-2.40.1 sounds quit correct in soundstage. 2.40.2 sounds better.
-not sure more emotion. already 100% emotion haha. think emotion more natural. need more listening.

excellent. thx

i think 2.40.2 can be little closer to ear. just a little. or maybe i mean a little bigger stage.

2.40.1 has a big stage. maybe coz closer to ear.
a stage size like 2.40.1 will be nice. 2.40.2 seems more correct in positioning. not sure. both very very very good.

even japanese pop sounds correct in soundstage. soundstage better than old versions already.

changed my mind. think 2.40.1 is better in soundstage. non-tiring simple soundstage. more focus on music. can listen for a long time.
2.40.2 seems more pretty- more effects.

right, 2.40.1 better (take 2.40.2 for refference left/right edges sound). have builded better versions, testing now, will upload later. this method of 2.40x very good, can make variations and micro changes but all of them have good soundstage.

lekt, remember you told me about mqn.exe 1.2? and remember mqn 2.51 rax no zi is the brother of 1.2? back then, my OS is very unoptimized. rax no zi sounds better. now my OS is super optimized i say my OS is 300% better, 1.2 also improves 300% but rax no zi only improves like 50%.

have you even considered what kind of coding has biggest potential improvement due to tweaking??

i shall listen to old lekt players and see what happens haha. my days of OS tweaking is about to finish.

.......

2.40.3 256
-new style. more substance.
-but also heavier sound. slightly bloated -> less transparent during high volume high vibration high density.
-less musical nuance. so, less emotion. less engaging.
-stage size kept. weight kept. flow kept.

more substance is good! think more difficult to keep airy. (like MQn versions with 'raw', it is rich, but lacks fine-grained/transparent/musical nuance)

shall mod this version.
