No, both paras don't cut it.
Sound of both becomes flatter (one more than the other) and become clearly 'recordings' instead of the live-like character of the regular 5.07 avx2.
Gordon, just go for the regular 5.07 it is truly the best.
Looking forward to trying some HighRes (32-bit please) based on this version. Am curious how much difference is still possible with higher sample rate when using this great sounding mqn version.
Cheers

Hi Aleg,
Do you want to say that 5.07 avx tops 4.82 avx (I love it so far), I'm wondering?
I haven't had a chance to try 5.07 yet, but I will tonight.

Just try it first.
I think it brings a great sense of ambience, creating a very live like experience, much more than other versions.
But do try the avx2 (or avx if you don't have a Haswell) as apparently according to JC the sse sounds hifi-like which avx2 absolutely does not.
Looking forward to hear your impressions.
Cheers

I will...thanks!
4.82 is exceptional already, I can imagine 5.07...can't wait to go home and try it.

George, hurry home, this one is actually making me cry, you've got to hear this one.
Mqn 5.07 avx2, Diverter2, Hugo, NAC282, NAP300 and Carmen Gomez is enough to get them rolling.
Re: MQN 5.07 SSE2

For those SSE2 jockeys like me, I would suggest 5.07 SSE2 is definitely the best yet.
Unbelievable detail (some of which I have never heard before), but without any harshness; deep bass is mega. Vocals clear as a bell. Piano superb (when recorded right). Separation top class. Wide sound stage.
If that is 'Hi-fi' (JC) then I like it.
I would willingly call it a day there.
Jonathan
P.S. 5.07 SSE2 hw xor 256 threw an immediate exception and that was it.
