The best Borodin that I have heard....bombasticDarren wrote: I had never heard Borodin's 1st or 3rd symphonies before this disc. I really enjoyed the 1st and the fragments of the 3rd were absolutely wonderful...if completed it would have been a worthy follow up to the glorious 2nd symphony. I have been blown away by this cycle; I do hope you manage to get hold of the rest of the setfergus wrote: I own 4 CDs in that Naxos cycle Matt, Symphonies 1-4, and each one is as good as the other one so far!

Cool! Then the cycle must be excellent. The 2nd is the only one that I own and really like it.
