4.54 avx has something about it, ought to be able to hear the whispers.

4.55 has a better tone

4.56 - best vocal articulation I've heard on 1000 shades of blue

4.57 may be even better

what I don't like about asio is that it requires a copy operation for each channel, is that why it sounds digital, don't know.

Gave 4.57 a quick blast
Lots improved better clarity detail better too
Decay might be a little short
frequency still needs extending maybe top and bottom
Still playing a little too safe

Will try other versions later

Anybody help me find any of the latest SSE versions? Google Drive Main seems full (50 items) and none of the latest ones showing?

Linux needs help alright but I doubt that's what their up to

There is a track by Sam Cooke on the night beat album "lost and looking"
There's a repetitive bass note and high cymbal
Difficult for digital to get right
4.57 was struggling to keep the balance between them and both was weak but the cymbal is weakest

The 4.57 was better than its predecessors even though we lost even more hf into 56/57
I'll test the newer ones tomorrow

Confused about the avx talk. Are all avx versions better than non-avx and if so by how much?

4.54 avx sounds natural. The best of the 4 versions for me.

Yes 4.54 has best balance out of the bunch
If 4.57 has balance between hf and lf fixed will be better overall

Think when sbgk makes a change it puts many things out of sync
Probably just needs more adjustment as usual
