for chrome, go the about:plugins -> choose the mod. don't use that flash which built-into chrome.

no. maybe 2-3% less than XA. assume XA is correct. also assume my OS tweak is correct.

i retested 2.38.2 and 2.36.3, careful. soundstage normal in my laptop, ~exactly XA1000 ASIO (maybe a bit of bit... lesser width, think normal), only foobar2000 running in realtime priority, here's sound have difference in intense. i see when running in this mode (or high priority also) seems better, more transparent, more intense, more clean. but lesser open/free sound, tired when long time listening, JC. do careful test in these modes. CD player sound very open/free.
then i don't set lekt player priority in code, let's user do this by .bat file if he likes this.

your 2.38.2 mod file: vibration OK, but soundstage changed, lesser width (or something likely width/height changed, very difficult detect coz this mod version have non-stability sound), sound has become nearer at listener. maybe you changed mod method, or you set windows with clock resolution specially for XA.
lekt player can give good sound in default windows environment, in my case default setting Pro Audio clockrate 10000 is best, very open/free sound. will try more improve vibration, musical emotion, more take care about soundstage.

yes... clockrate is wrong (i have 8ms)! set clockrate=10000. soundstage better.

i need to be more careful. recently version 2.37x to 2.38x becomes very sensitive. like ramdisk is bad, wrong clockrate is bad, mod is bad!
older versions doesn't matter.

i am testing too:
2.38.2+clockrate 10000 = good stage
2.38.2 mod + clockrate 10000 = bad stage
2.38.2 mod + clockrate 8ms = good stage
2.38.2 + clockrate 8ms = bad stage

so, my result is similar to you.

(in my setup i have 8ms because my dac likes 8ms, works for flash, foobar, xa, mqn, hqplayer and lekt player depends on version hehe...)

don't give up, your mod method very interesting, may use with .exe, .dll, after compiling, can make for individual purpose depend on hobby. i'll try later (tried, but bad result, .exe crashed! hehe...).
only adjust good vibration versions more difficult, as in my case optimization code. better vibration always makes sound nearer at us and reduces sound width, damn!

there's onething interesting, .aac audio codec usually more soundstage, more stereo effect than original .wav source. DSP can make all things. currently youtube video uses aac (older used mp2, mp3), seems better sound, but it's DSP effect, i like mp3 more than, coz keep original soundstage. but mp3 more blur than aac (compare 2 file with same size). better only with wav, hehe...

oh, ic!!! that's pretty damn good DSP by google/youtube.

but flash sounded wrong before i modded it. digital + incorrect soundstage.
i only changed majorlinkversion from 09 to 0A. 1 letter changes everything! pkshan is genius!

uploaded v2.39 256 , all things a bit better, sound width expanded and in norm. vibration seems more correct and sound have become stability, mellow, emotion. try it.
