i had always been testing ramdisk

now testing 2.38.1 without ramdisk. the tune is great. no longer too mellow. very very good! piano sharp and clear. best. maybe 0.5% more weight than norm. or maybe bright. not sure...

think bass vibration is good here, that when system good tweaked bass vibration have priority, all things has become mellow, then sound weight also become reduced (drum not heavy, more "mellow" too), but stage expanded (more height).
there's computer audio, not stabilization. sometime i feel my laptop give very good sound, full resonance, sometime very bad, hehe...

SQ changes every week for me! i am hoping SQ to stabilize soon. i put too much time in this digital audio hobby. haha

when i first started, this STX soundcard of mine sounded like my ipod. terrible. now it starts to sound like a CD player. thx

2.36.3 has good stage.
2.38.1+ramdisk has great stage.
2.38.1 stage not always correct.

yes 2.36.3 has correct soundstage that sound is not thin/not thick, normal 3D dimention. 2.38.1 a bit nearer at listener.

uploaded v2.38.2 256 , fixed soundstage issue. may say it's 2.36.3's brother, but much better vibration (merged code of 2.38.1 and 2.36.3).

in general, i notice that lekt player, at certain 'angle' in space, there isn't enough sound. with mqn, or foobar or XA, i feel sound is everywhere in my headphone. not sure i make any sense. if you can fix this, the stage should be perfect.

if foobar has sound everywhere in space say 10heightx10widthx10depth in dimension. with lekt player it is like 9x10x10.

i usually feel not enough sound at the top left of my headphone. i feel a lot of sound in the centre. something like this.

the stage is fixed magically. i don't get it. if there is a problem. the PE mod fixes.

but again. PE mod sounds too mellow.

no. maybe 2-3% less than XA. assume XA is correct. also assume my OS tweak is correct.
