I remember that one from way back when and I always thought then how exotic that cover looked!

A Neil night tonight in anticipation of the gig tomorrow
Forgot about that! Enjoy :) Wonder will he play Cortez the Killer?
No Cortez which was disappointing but good gig overall. Powderfinger,Roll another number, a good bit from Ragged Glory, Rockin' in the free world. He did a few acoustic numbers in the middle which I feel killed the pace of the show a bit but overall happy with the gig (except for the now obligatory camera phones stuck into your face for most of the gig!)

Glad to hear you enjoyed 'ol Neil :) Thinking about classic live albums I sincerely hope you have Year of the Horse which was a big surprise especially at the time when Neil was getting bad reviews all over for Broken Arrow. Still haven't managed to see the film though....

No Dermot, don't have that one. Have Weld which I really like from that period, and Live Rust obviously. Will check it out though, thanks.
'Twas more like a solo Neil show in places,Rick Rosas instead of Billy Talbot, and 2 backing singers. Don't think Neil worries about reviews, thankfully. I think even his poor albums always have at least one gem.

The best by far sonically speaking of the home/studio outtakes stuff by Nick....It's a joy listening to these precious recordings when they're done properly as here.
