My very honest response would be "Fuck yeah".tweber wrote:This is probably nostalgia but these all sound great out loud on vinyl (using headphones only since I got a TT a few months back). Digging through my collection from years ago plus new ones...heaven

There's no shame in nostalgia or indeed electric ladies ;) All vinyl and all from a long way away....I'm surprised I still remember them!

Re: Rock - what are you listening to?
God Fran that just triggered a sh*t load of memories.
I was in a band thumping the tubs with more enthusiasm than skill, we "I Shot the Sheriff" each and every night and occasionally had a go at "Willie and the Hand Jive" & "Get Ready".
Good Times (sigh)

God man John! There goes a man with great taste :) I know it's as indulgent as hell and the sonics could have been better (on the vinyl edition) but it's great fun and the guitars have a suitable swampy feel not to mention the OTT vocals :) Grrrrrrroooooowwwwwwllllllll :)
Re: Rock - what are you listening to?
It never ceases to amaze me that being reacquainted with an artist (Eric Clapton - Blues From The Cradle purchase yesterday) suddenly opens the floodgates of memory. So tonight I'll be listen in to these live classics from a time when these young guys in the prime of their youth literally burned the stage :) I'm ashamed to say I've forgotten how good they really were......
