This CD is one that I always look forward to listening to at Christmas time. To be honest it contains really lovely music that can readily be listened to at any time of the year. It is beautifully sung and well played. This was the first disc of Charpentier’s music that I bought and it certainly was a great introduction to this composer’s music.
