Well, how was it? I saw it recently in Tower but after I got burned with some less than stellar releases on RSD, I left it.
Great music. Brilliant intro to Lizzie Reed. Terrific Jessica where we hear Betts properly for the first time. But....for me, the actual mastering sucks :( Typical pristine bass light sound. Makes my floorstanders sound like iPod speakers! Thank God for the Fillmore sets!

Long time since I've listened to this. Bat sh*t crazy but great stuff. Nothing else like Tom Waits at his weirdest.

Rarely played since I bought it 2 years ago. More of the same from Cohen as the title suggest. Love the backing vocalists.

I like that album a lot but the production is very odd - even by Cohen standards. If memory serves (and it usually doesn't) all but one of the tracks are recorded with musicians and singers in different studios all over the world. Not a great template. The one track that is recorded with all present ("Going Home"? see earlier comment re memory) is easily the most coherent.

Really enjoying this more with each listen. More lush, keyboards to the fore, not as dirty sounding as previous albums.
