I'm still enjoying his debut from a few years ago and this is quite different but still lovely.
Only heard in the shop and car so far but will get to listen "properly" later...

just arrived on pre-order from ages ago!
Double 45rpm from the most audiophile-centric band around!
Sounds fantastic on its first spin, a slight return to earlier elbow...
Recording is superb

I've been listening to the CD and yeah, it's a great album beautifully produced. I probably will buy the vinyl (I was tired and grabbed the easy option) but from some late night headphone listening it's a really great album.

I was never a fan of The Who bar a few riffs and rhyming couplets but that fella Daltry has a voice on him alright. It makes a good pairing for Wilko's R&B and his voice suits the down and dirty no nonsense songs... some new and some old Dr Feelgood stuff too which makes for obvious comparisons. Nothing mould breaking but it's bloody good.
