I have'nt got a clue Fergus, I just pick up bottles at random to try out, or if the shop assistant is good I will go on a recommendation. I tend to prefer the sub 20E price bracket. Different shops / stores seem to have their own particular strategy for what goes on their shelves. Perhaps somebody else on the forum could throw some light on the matter.

If you can't get it up where you are, then drop me a p.m. and I will see if my local wine centre still has it in stock. If not then you may have to resort to the net.

Cheers Adrian....I like a good Italian red wine as there is just something different and distinctive about them.
