Unhalfbricking: Fairport Convention
One of my desert island discs.
It contains one of my all time favourite songs,
'Who knows where the time goes'

I like nearly anything I've heard from Jim White (not that I've heard that much)

Another one of the "oldies" sitting on my shelf neglected and unplayed for a long time....must listen again soon.
Welcome back, Mick.

I must confess, Fran, that I am not a big Dylan fan but two of his albums get occasional play....Blood on the Tracks and Blonde on Blonde.

Good to be back Fergus. I have to say that this is one of the records that got me hooked on HI Fi. I first heard it on a Thorens td124, SME arm and Shure V15? cartridge. This was played through Quad 33/303 and Quad 57 speakers.
It was magic. It was played alongside Carl Orff's Carmina Burana. Very similar.

Fergus, you should try "Oh mercy" (called no mercy by the wags!) and the other one I'd recommend was the last box set out.

how bad though!
I have the sacd version of Blood on The Tracks sitting in my amazon wishlist, ever since the old one served purpose as a coaster at a party
currently listening to
who was tagged as the "new dylan"
cracking good album... less overtly funny than his later stuff....
re: oh mercy... has my favorite Dylan song on it "the man in the long black coat"
