I will bring along my NUC with linear supply from hdplex along with my Hugo. Mainly for possible system-tinkering (did I hear a sigh from resident experts?) but if anyone wants to hear it with their own headphones they are more than welcome. I have MQN, Jriver and jplay running on it at present....

Well, yes that's exactly it. It's easy, runs off an old laptop, free, reversible, remote control, networking, plays all file types..... Gives you probably 90% of Mqn. So not the last word in fidelity but a good approximation and cheaper than most streamers.

If it's any use I can bring my bog-standard NUC running Openelec in a completely non-optimised bloated system with a spinning 3.5" internal disc. Just for comparison.

Also, if there's any interest, I can bring the Wadia 151 Powerdac.

Anyone with a NUC just set your Bios in advance to boot from USB first...

Cool. The one I'd bring is already booting off USB so that's ready to rock. I really want to hear how much better MQn etc. is on 'normal' PCs.

Hear that CA geeks? You have a willing victim, er volunteer!

My audio pc is well behind the dizzy heights that Nigel, Tony, pearse and more are at, so maybe font build expectations too high but the Sq is still excellent to these ears.

At this moment I am going down with Ivor and was going to bring the Little Dot Mkiii Head amp and AKG 701's.
My PC and power supply is a bit like an old Citroen car, bits fall off very easily. But my 'other' audio pc is easily moveable and has 12v maplin linear so can bring that if it suits? With the amount of gear/people coming testing will be fun!
