Well done Tony, I had been looking at a pair from technologyfactory.eu about a month ago but blew my budget on the meitner instead.
Looking forward to have a listen when you get your mancave set up and you get delivery of the remaining piece....wonder if the name Peter Walker has anything to do with the remaining piece of the puzzle!!!!

Thanks again everybody. Peter who Pearse? Your a bit of a supertweeter spreading rumours around the town! Where will it all end?
The Ja monoblocks are still available on that site. With the preamp also available ex demo there. That package would be a very large sum above my budget. Some of the stuff on that site looks fantastic but a lot of it qualifies for the art stereophile article posted by Simon.

It 's funny alright nobody ever had an interest in hearing the cyrus at any stage. Its amazing what a few valves can do.

In holyhead stuck on a dingy stena boat with nothing to do except post. Got my quads as Pearse alluded to. Was looking for awhile and decided to go off the rails and just get them and worry about the consequences later. A lovely pair of 57's with otec panels from onethingaudio. Sounded fantastic to me so stuck them in the boot and battled my way back through birmingham. It is a tough trip. Went last night driving down listening to them and back this evening. Really think they were worth the effort will be interested to see what the usual suspects thing in due course. Got to hear a pair of living voice speakers can't remember the exact model name but really incredible speakers. I think they retail circa £11K but would on a brief listen would certainly be worth hearing for lads spending that type of money and more. It seems the lads on this side of the pond are as mad into dabbling as some of our illustrious members. This gentleman has acquired a large amount of expensive parts to build his own amp. Pearse you would have liked his art audio phonostage.Lovely piece of kit. Thats me finished with this madness I will be lucky to be allowed to buy a few cds for a couple of years

Great stuff, Tony. Have heard great reports about Living Voice, but always forget they exist. I've never heard a pair.

Anyway that's by the by. Enjoy all the new toys!

Not young and not able for this! I reckon I will have to lie down for a week after this trip. I wont spit out my soother honest cant afford to. If I even mumbled something by mistake or error at home I think frying pan and fire would be an understatement. Ship has sailed what is onboard is it for better or worse.
